 Projects
Being the implementor of CY 2006 Infrastructure Projects of different categories; either buildings, flood control structures or roads, this section encountered several difficulties in project handling. Bogged-down of equipments (vintage type) while transporting construction materials to project site for administration projects, not enough conditioned-service vehicle for supervision and monitoring, and undermanned accredited engineers to handle projects are still the very lessons we learned this current year.
In spite of the fact, that we are outnumbered in strength compared to the volume of projects implemented and hindered by other problems met during prosecution of projects, calendar year 2006 is still one of the best years for us. Our Regional Office ranked us in no. 4 region wide in project implementation of DPWH CY 2005 – 2003 carry-over projects for the 1st quarter of 2006 and ranked no. 2 regionwide also in project implementation of DPWH CY 2006 – 2003 current and carry-over projects for the 3rd quarter of 2006.
In this year, we had implemented several projects funded under DAR-MINSSAD, CY 2005 DepEd School Building Program, CY 2006 DepEd School Building Program, CY 2005 Lower House, CY 2005 VILP and CY 2006 Lower House, the following are here enumerated below:
